Injured deer in the ditch in the 9800 block of 270th Avenue “that needs to be dispatched.”

12:33 p.m. Possible fraud reported to Chippewa County.

4:24 p.m. Caller advised of a man open carrying a firearm at Walmart Supercenter. No threats made.

4:26 p.m. Resident at REM making suicidal statements. September 30 Richard A. Hovde, age 48, taken into custody by Eau Claire Police on a warrant for Failure To Appear Receiving Stolen Property.

6:53 a.m.

A man called reporting criminal damage to his vehicle in the 2400 block of Highway 29.

11:22 a.m.

Kevin J. Wahlin, age 56, takin into custody by the Eau Claire Sheriff’s Department on a Chippewa County body or bond warrant for $1000 and court date for Failure To Appear Domestic DC 11:30 a.m.

St. Joe’s Hospital requested a personal welfare check on someone oxygen dependent and very sick.

A man reported a rock flying out of a dump truck and cracking his windshield on County Q south of County S.

Abby Van reported on County Trunk J with slow speeds and deviating from lane on County X and H.

A man reported getting bit by his own dog in the 100 block of North Sixth Street. The man had been to urgent care and been released.

A caller in the 300 block of North Boyd Street expressed the wish to speak with a deputy regarding an ongoing issue with his neighbor.

Anonymous tip about a suspicious vehicle at the Lake Wissota Boat Landing.

Open 911 line. Nothing heard in the background besides tapping. Upon callback it went straight to voicemail. Investigate.

Dustin R. Klaphake, age 32, taken into custody by Eau Claire County on Chippewa County warrants for possession of methamphetamine, Possess Drug paraphernalia, Possession of THC (2nd+ Offense), bail jumping – felony.

A woman was reported to have broken her bond in relation to a case with unknown details.

A caller reported lights on at the humane association that are usually never left on overnight, from the 10500 block of Country Trunk S South.

October 4 9:10 a.m.

Fraud report on house build that went over by $500,000.

11:52 a.m.

Timothy W. Cook Jr., age 31, in custody at Chippewa Sheriff’s Jail with three warrants.

1:48 p.m.

Report made of a gun or bow case on the ground near Highway 178 on the Chippewa River.

6:21 p.m.

Anonymous report of possible animal neglect/abuse from the 20800 block of County Trunk Q.

8:30 p.m.

Caller reported a deer in in the lane of travel on State Highway 29 eastbound at mile marker 94. It appeared to have been hit and likely needed to “be dispatched.”

Call came regarding a woman in her nineties who had pushed her alarm without response, from the 1200 block of County Trunk F.

Deputy out with a man on warrant arrest from the address of the County Courthouse. No specifics.

Caller reporting a missing person in the 20400 block of 270th Street. Did not come home after work at 4 p.m.

Neighbor’s dog reported to be killing chickens in the 14000 block of 199th Street.
