I think this suit would be good because when he is going down a chimney, he would go fast and swiftly and if he wants to slow down, he can put his feet apart and onto the chimney wall. ~Eli Christensen If I could design Santa’s suit, I would make it slippery and rainbow. If it’s rainbow we can see him. ~Baylor Goettl If I could design Santa’s suit it would be red, white, and gray and slippery. Red is Santa’s favorite color and white is the color of snow. It would look like snow and gray would look like the bad snow and the suit would be slippery so Santa could slip down the chimney and have no problems going down the chimney. ~Brooklyn Hinrichs I would make the inside of Santa’s suit copper, with a solid layer of wool. On the outside, it would have two layers of copper and two layers of wool. The wool would be tiedyed red. ~Gavin Knez If I could design Santa’s suit. By Carter Steinhorst So Santa could use some improvements. I could help Santa’s suit so I put silk so Santa can get to houses faster so Santa could deliver presents faster.
By Jayce Schesel I think santa’s suit could use some fixing. I am going to put a little pocket in his suit so he doesn’t have to bring a big bag down the chimney and so he doesn’t have to bring it back up. There is one way his job would be easier.
By Trenten O’Connor I think Santa’s suit needs improvement. Let’s add silk to Santa’s suit so he can slide down the chimney and wings to fly out the chimney. That’s how Santa is going to complete Christmas.
By Ivy Luedtke I think Santa’s suit could have some changes. First I’m going to camouflage it so Santa is more sneaky. Next I’m going to add a pair of jet shoes so he can fly off a house and go to another. And I am going to make a hat that has a microphone in it so he can communicate with his elves and reindeer.
By Ezra Link I think Santa’s suit could be better by making improvements. I think he could use a jetpack because he can go faster with a turbo engine jetpack than a sleigh with reindeer and because he might not get to every single child on christmas because there are more children every year and the jet pack could help him go faster.
By Kinlee Lingen Santa’s suit is usually red, has a gold belt, black boots, and finally a red hat. Every year he has the same outfit. Right? He needs to change it up some year! This year I’m helping him with his outfit! First, he needs a candy stash for the ride. Also one for the reindeer too! His boots could have super blasters in them! So he can fly. He could change the color of his suit to green, orange, yellow, blue, or pink to look fashionable. Santa please change it up some year!
By Gregory Lane I am going to help Santa’s suit be better. First, I’m going to add silk. Then he will go down the chimney easier and hold in the fat so Santa Claus looks younger. I hope he can get to every house safer and easier.
By Peyton Kroeplin I think Santa’s suit could use some fixing for Christmas. To fix Santa’s suit you could add wings to Santa’s suit so his reindeer don’t have to fly him around because the reindeer’s legs will get tired.
By Natilynn Johnson I think Santa’s suit could use fixing. You could add rocket wings to Santa`s suit. When Santa pulls the cord and then the rocket wings will come out. Then Santa can deliver the presents faster.
By Rilei Glidden I think Santa’s suit could use some fixing. Santa’s suit could use some wings so he can fly and do his job and do his job easier. And so Santa doesn’t have to use his reindeer.
By Jack Burns I think that Santa’s job needs to be easier so I think his suit could use some improvements. I think Santa should have some disguise so if someone woke up and looked they would see someone in their family. I also think that Santa’s suit should be camo so if he is on the roof he can’t be seen.
By Kasey White To help Santa get ready faster for Christmas Eve my idea would be for them to have a magic suit.
By Hope Mahler I will use fur on Santa’s suit so he can stay warm in his suit all night. Long white furry is fluffy and you stay warm all night long. He might like the idea. I like the idea Santa said? I Like it too?
Mrs. Mahr Grade 3 “Santa’s Suit” By Abigail Mertens Have you ever wondered if Santa had any other suits? Santa might have a heated or an expandable/ shrinking suit,or an invisible suit. The heated suit can keep him warm at night. The expandable/shrinking suit will make him small so he can fit in small places. The invisible suit can make him invisible so he can’t be seen.
By Dexter Dorn Santa is coming to town in a new suit. I say he should have a fireproof, invisible suit that can see through walls. He should choose the most greatest suit. Let’s say he had an invisible suit. If somebody might see him, he could go invisible so it looks like a decoration. The fire proof suit is so he doesn’t catch on fire.

By Finley Yeager Today is Santa’s birthday. I am making a suit for Santa’s birthday. He is going to be a tree with looks like a Christmas tree. He can go up to the tree he looks like, and be a part of the tree so the kids won’t see him and that’s why he should have that suit.
By Hadlee Acker I wonder if Santa has different outfits? Well I will tell you Santa does. He has a pink cushioned one so if he ran into anything he would not get hurt. And he has a bright pink suit so he would blend in with Christmas lights and vision goggles will help him see better at night. You can see that Santa does have other suits.
From Jaxson Richardson My Old Suit Santa has a very old suit and today I will make him a new one. It will be so cool nobody will make fun of him any more.

From Jaxson Richardson By Kylie Klovas Have you wondered if Santa has different suits? I came up with one! A glow in the dark, hot cocoa suit. It’s green and red striped and the green glows. Then his button: if he presses it, hot cocoa will come out on a tray. The hot cocoa tray is connected to his suit. This helps him because the glow in the dark will help him see on the roof. The hot cocoa part helps him when he is cold, he can have hot cocoa. He has crazy suits. Are you gonna come up with one?
By Owen Eslinger I want Santa’s suit to look like it should be invisible so no kids can see him just in case his sled doesn’t work and so no one can see him.
By RJ Ryba If Santa wanted a new suit, what would it be? He could have a suit with a jetpack because if he got stuck he could still deliver presents. A red suit with pockets would be nice so he can see the trees. He could have a cushion suit because if he falls off the sled he won’t hurt himself.
By Bronson Wiese Have you ever wondered if Santa had different suits? Well I’m going to prove that true! Santa might have a night vision goggles suit? Or he might have an invisible suit? You never know! So I will tell you some he has and why but don’t tell anyone otherwise I won’t tell you.First one the fire proof suit is used because if Santa crashes into the fireplace he will be fine! Next up, the silk suit is used so Santa can slide down the chimney and not get stuck. Lastly, the light bulb suit is used so Santa can see in the dark.
By Elaina Gunelson It is Santa’s Birthday! and we’re gonna get him a blue suit with silver glitter on it because the blue will be invisible because it is night and the glitter will reflect like the stars.

I called Mrs. Claus. “What about a heated suit with night vision goggles?” I said. Mrs. Claus said, “I think that’s a great idea.”
Santa’s suit is old. I think he needs a new one. I maybe can make him one that is slick so it can help him slide down the chimney.
From Keely Gordon By Lawson Weiland Ring, ring, ring. “Hello! What do you mean you don’t like your suit?’’
“Fine. I will think of an idea. How about a pink and yellow suit?” I asked.

“Then how about a heated suit with fireproof and heated detector google’s?”
Santa announced, “Perfect! Can you make it for me?’’
“Yes I can, when do you need it?
“Three days before Christmas.’’
“But that’s only 6 days. Ahh,fine. You got a deal. I will send the finished product.”

When I Caught My First Fish By Avrin Frederick It was May of 2022. I was in Stanley, Wisconsin, fishing at Chapman Lake. I was fishing with my friend using a push button reel with his pole. Then all I saw was the bobber going under water. “There’s a fish on the hook. Whip the pole softly and reel it in quickly,” he said.
“I’m trying hard,” I said. When I was done reeling in the fish it turned out that I caught 4-7 inch Pumpkin Seed. It weighed about one-three ounces. That is the story of me catching my first fish.

By Carter Daigle Would you want a reindeer as a pet? I would like a reindeer as a pet because everyone would ask me, “How in the world did you get a reindeer?”

My Christmas Story By Owen Clow It was close to bedtime and it was almost time for Santa to arrive. I was getting more and more excited every minute. I jumped into bed as fast as I could, but the excitement inside of me kept me up. Later, something unexpected happened. I was under my blankets and someone opened the door and said “k-k-k-k,” and they said my name, “Owen, Owen.” I was as still as a statue. When the person left I tried going back to sleep. An hour later I got bored of trying to go to sleep, so I went to the living room. Under the glowing tree there were presents. Then I remembered the rule. I can’t open presents until everyone is up. So, I waited. I watched TV. It was Christmas morning and I had never been more excited. What my brother and I got was a console we could hook up to the downstairs TV. What Osten and I gave our parents for Christmas was a picture. Later I asked mom and dad about the noise and there was no answer. Ever since then I wondered what those noises were.
Snow For Me By: Katie Reid I woke up today on this cold winter day, So excited to finally play. The snow finally came after the horrible rain.

Expo By James Mahr I was in the show ring. It was massive and the shavings were black. I was at one of the biggest dairy shows in the world, World Dairy Expo. People come from all over the United States and the World to Madison, Wisconsin, to see the best dairy cows in the world.
As I walked my heifer into the ring, the massive speaker started to crackle. In my head I was thinking, oh God, my heifer is about to jump. I got a tighter grip and then the heifer jumped. When she jumped back the chain came out from under the chin. Oh no! The halter came off the head, and there the heifer went! She was gone!
The heifer went towards the other half of the show ring. She was kicking her back legs while running to the other half of the show ring. All the other cows were jumping out in fright. This was my worst nightmare coming true.
The Canadian judge who was wearing a gray tuxedo bear hugged her around the neck. Then Jessica Proley put on the show halter. Then we pulled the heifer out of the class.
We walked her back to the massive barns and switched her out for a different winter calf.
I went back in to a different class with her and she behaved good. The judge said, “good job.” I finished in the middle of the pack.

Back to the real question, what does it taste like? Well, I would say it tastes like a chocolatey creamy and buttery drink. It can have big or little marshmallows that melt in your mouth. The Five Things I Want for Christmas the Most By: Stephani Vizer Have you ever had trouble choosing the top five things you want for christmas? I have a lot of trouble choosing anything, but I always end up choosing the things I want.
The first thing I wanted was a mini tree house in my closet. I have been asking for one for a while now, and I couldn’t wait to see if I was going to get it or not.
The second thing I wanted was a horse, so I could have something to do during the day and not be bored or lazy. I wanted one for myself, not to be selfish or anything, so I don’t have to wait to ride the horse.
The third thing I wanted was curtains for my room so no one watches me when I sleep. And I wanted pink and blue ones on one side and black see through ones like doors for my closet.
The fourth thing I wanted was a potty trained puppy to play with in case I don’t get a horse to ride. At least I won’t get bored during the day, and I will be able to play with it outside and inside.
The last thing I want is makeup so I can learn how to put on makeup. I can help my future kids with their makeup.
Mrs. Estes Grade 5 Snow Tunnels One of my favorite Christmas memories is building snow tunnels. I was still new at this school. I was only in the Stanley-Boyd school for 3 years. It snowed a lot that night and when I say a lot it was a lot. I came down stairs and saw the christmas tree, put my stuff on and ran outside and grabbed a shovel. It was so chilly, I started digging round circles in the snow big enough for me to crawl through. Then my brother came out and crawled in it with me. It was fun but sadly it snowed again and the tunnels collapsed on the snow’s weight, but it still was fun.

We all jump in the truck, and we head to the Christmas tree farm. My parents pay and then we go pick out the most beautiful tree. This year, my mom found one she liked, and we jumped out to look at it. This was the best tree of all! My dad used a saw to cut the tree and we loaded it up and headed home. Written By: Eli Seichter Christmas! Christmas here, Christmas there, Christmas is everywhere!
Hang the stockings and hang the bells! Christmas is here, let’s have some fun.
Watch movies and drink cocoa, and maybe make some jello.
Christmas here, Christmas there, Christmas is now everywhere!
Hang the mistletoe and kiss her once for me.
Children play and children holler.
And now there are presents under the tree.
Snow is falling everywhere while kids have fun playing anywhere.
Mothers and daughters, fathers and sons build snowmen while having fun.
Santa sneaks through the chimney and eats lots of cookies.
While Santa’s eating he grabs a few carrots for dancer and prancer and comet and cupid.
While the kids are sleeping dreaming of gumdrops and gingerbread houses.
Santa yells Christmas is now Here, There, and everywhere!
Merry Christmas!

A New Christmas Tradition By: Ayana Menchaca Wiemer Last year on Christmas, we started the tradition of making tamales. It takes us about two days to make them, and our whole family helped make them. After cooking the tamales, we heard the oven “ding” and we took them out of the wrap. They were a little dry, but it was our first time making them. My mom made spicy and not spicy tamales. We opened presents, and ate more tamales. Then, my brother, sister and I went outside to play on the snow hill. This was the best winter break and Christmas I ever had.

Boom, pow, “oooh,ow!’ Pshh, pshh snow up snow down I gave him his coal but in a worse way I made a big hit which kinda hurt me and the ball came out Which I took back to the touchdown so I bowed.
My friends got mad but I knew they felt bad for guy in the snow gasping for air He couldn’t stand for five minutes so we stood right by his side.
He got better and I felt bad and sad but I apologized and when I brought it up all I heard was laughter.
Getting the Christmas Tree By: Liam Hoel Every year we have a family tradition of getting a Christmas tree with our whole family. We listen to Christmas tunes on our way there which takes about 20 minutes because it’s in Lake Hallie. Then we arrive and look for the best one, big and round. We all search for the best looking tree one by one and cut it down. Finally, we get it loaded up and take it home. When we get home, we get it in our stand and decorate it with our love.

Christmas Tradition By: Olivia Krizan Every December we get a tree. We always put it in the corner of our living room. We wait for it to dry and once it finishes we put fake snow on from these bottles. Once that dries we put on lights and all those decorations! After that we spend some time together and then we make sugar cookies. They are so delicious!
Christmas Cookies By: Callie LaGrander We all know Christmas cookies are delicious! My favorite cookies are sugar cookies. Mmmm! Just thinking about them makes me hungry! It’s usually me,my mom,and my sister, who bake the cookies, it’s a tradition in our family. We usually make cookies for Santa, Christmas Eve, or earlier. It’s always so exciting to bake them, knowing Christmas is close!
It’s extra fun too because,me and my sister get to decorate the cookies by ourselves! We also get to get our own cookie cutters and make really cool shapes. But last, and certainly not least, is to color the cookies! Sometimes,we mix the food dye to make other colors. It’s a really cool experiment. Then,of course after that my dad, brother, sister, mom, and me all get to be taste testers! We obviously don’t leave our dog out. We of course give him a little treat too! After that,we store them and wait until we go to bed and then,we put them out for Santa with a glass of milk. Finally,we go to bed and wait for Christmas Day!

It was a jolly air inside the small little cottage in the woods as the Christmas night drew closer. Everybody was excited and all of the kids went outside and grabbed their sleds from their shed and ran up to the top of the little hill by their house.
They had made it up to the top and looked down. They saw the pure white snow glistening in the sunlight and hopped onto their sleds and they rode down and they ended right back up at the bottom of the hill. They did this for a while and they were starting to get tired so they decided to make a snow fort but when they started their mother called them in for supper.
They ran in and got undressed from their snow stuff and they ran to the table and the delicious aroma of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and many other amazing foods and they hungrily sat down to eat.
They started to fill their plates as their oven beeped but their mom said for them to keep eating but not too much! They went back to eating and after a while their mom told them to stop eating and she cleared the table and brought out ice cream, pie, pudding, jello and cookies and their gingerbread house that they made earlier. They started to fill their plates and dig in and they ate for a while and once they were full they got ready for bed and they got into bed.
As they were starting to fall asleep they heard people talking and they got out of bed and creeped downstairs. By their tree they saw their parents talking to Santa and they ran back to bed and stayed there until morning!
When they came down in the morning they saw so many presents under the tree and they saw their mother sleeping on the couch. They told her to wake up as they shook her. She woke up and they told her that they saw her talking to Santa!
Then she told them to open their presents as she made breakfast! She made pancakes, waffles, eggs, orange juice and toast! “This is the best Christmas ever!” the kids said. The mother smiled and said, “I’ll go wake up your father!”
The kids opened their stockings and they saw so much candy! They saw carmels, Runts, Jolly Ranchers, Gummy bears and Gummy worms, and hard candy and they started to dump them out to sort their candy and as their mother and father came out. They asked their mom if she had told Santa to give them lots of candy and she smiled and said, “Yes, yes I did!”
They dug in as they all said, “This is the best Christmas ever!” They said as they heard a snowball hit the side of their house and as they looked out they saw their uncle throwing snowballs at their house and they went out to say hi! When they got outside their eyes went wide as they saw a brand new huge snow fort and they ran inside.
The End My True Story By Claire Stuttgen At night when we woke up we waited for mom and dad to wake up. They woke up and they came downstairs to see us opening our presents. First, we got our stockings and we looked for toys, I got an LOLl doll, Greyson got a Mickey Mouse book, and Cody got a little monster truck. Our mom got a cookbook and dad got a Deadpool costume for the next Halloween.
Next, we went to my cousin’s house to open up presents with our cousins. My mom made pumpkin pie and fruit salad at our house. My aunt Julie made pumpkin chili. It’s really good and is what my mom made at Halloween. We made hot chocolate by ourselves and I like hot chocolate, it’s really good. My brother really, really likes hot chocolate. We eat a lot of yummy food.
Murder Mystery By Kaynen Steinbach One day in the middle of winter, Bartie Bodycomb was walking on the street when everything went dark. “Help”!!! He exclaimed.
Earlier that day, Birty Shufflebottom was seen arguing with Bartie Bodycomb. Hmmm, thought detective Nigel Blagden, maybe I’ll check out his house. Knock.Knock.
“I’m coming,” Birty yelled. When Birty finally reaches the door, there is blood everywhere.
“I suppose you know where the blood came from”, Nigel said.
“‘Dis ain’t no blood, ‘dis ketchup. Ain’t no blood here,” exclaimed Birty.
“Really then why are their organs on your table?” Nigel suspiciously said.
“Just shot a deer,” Birty lied.
“Out of season,” Nigel said. “It’s still hunting season,” Birty lied.
“Ha, let’s look at the DNR rules,” Nigel said. Right there and then Birty zoomed off.
“Get here right now Shufflebottom!” Birth yelled. But he was gone. So Birty stopped for donuts at the local Dunkin’ Donuts.
1 minute later… Nigel was already there and he put Birty into cuffs. Nigel said, “We will go to court.”
24 hours later… “Please Judge, I did not kill Bartie Bodycomb,” said Birty.
“Then what explains these human organs?” asked Judge Judy.
“Ain’t no human organs,” said Birty.
“We got professional scientists and they said they were human organs,” said Judge Judy.
“Fine. Fine. I killed Bartie Bodycomb! But yall can’t catch me! Birty said.
“Yes we can.” Judge Judy explained. After that, his body was found at the local Dunkin’ Donuts.
The Snow By Eli Robertson I was having a snowball fight and me and my friends were covered in snow! After the snowball fight, he looked at me and I threw a snowball and I hit him. My dad was laughing and my friend was too.
He tried to attack me but I pushed him in the snow and I ran in my house and he banged on the door. He slipped! My dad and mom came in and I was exhausted! So I was lazy the rest of the day and just ate popcorn!
Winter By Krista Ramos-Olea I would like to say that winter is the best season ever in my opinion! Your opinion can be different, ok, it doesn’t have to be the same as mine, but the reason I like winter is because you can build a snowman. However, I also like to roll down in the snow! In Winter you can play in the snow, you can go down the slide really fast, you can throw snowballs if you are at your house (but if your mom or your dad doesn’t want to throw snowballs, then you should listen to them, ok?). You don’t have to listen to your friends but you can still have fun!
Maybe you should ask your parents if you can jump on the trampoline (if you have one)! If they say no, you can play with your friends or your neighbors if they have kids that you know! You should always have fun.You don’t have to be bored and stay inside you can go outside and have fun! You can also have Christmas presents! You should be very nice or you might not have Christmas presents!
Have fun because it is winter! There are a lot of things to do in winter!
Christmas Traditions By: Mikalena Mertens My family has a lot of traditions. One is that every year me and my family go see Christmas lights in different parks. They are so pretty. We also go tubing down hills with my dad, mom, me,, my siblings and my cousins. It’s alway so fun. The best part is when me and my cousins all connect to each other and go down the hill while spinning. The funniest thing about tubing is that you fall off.
Another tradition is that me and my mom make hundreds of cookies. My favorite cookie is the classic chocolate cookie. Our ingredients are just the normal eggs, flour, and all that stuff. I’m not listing all of the traditions that I do because I have a lot.
Another tradition is that we go to a store like Farm and Fleet and me and my family get a new ornament. Each of us choose one to add to the tree.
But another tradition that is sent by Santa, is an Elf On The Shelf. But we just got a new elf because our old one got a job in the workshop. We also named our new elf, Eve!
These are some of my Christmas traditions. Do you have the same traditions? Or do you have some different ones?

Wesley’s Thanksgiving Tradition By: Wesley Haas First we go outside to put wood in the woodstove. After we get done we go in and get warm up to go to my grandma’s house. When we get there I can’t wait to dig into the food.
The food we have is mashed potatoes and gravy. We also have ham, turkey, and bread. I love to put hot sauce on my bread.
Then when we get done eating we go to my aunts to watch a movie. This time we watched the Minions The Rise of Gru. That movie was so good and I had popcorn. It was so good, too.
Lastly, we go back to my grandma’s house the next day and bake cookies and frost them. The frosting we had was vanilla with blue, red, and purple dye. Afterward we made Rolo cookies, and we ate them all. They were so delicious!
My Family Christmas Traditions By SAMUEL NITZ Every Christmas my family has traditions and today I am going to tell you about them. Every Christmas my family picks names out of a hat and that night we go to Irvine Park to see the lights! We go to Dollar Tree after and get presents for whoever’s name we picked.
And this tradition I can’t help, every year at school when the ice comes, I’m always the one who ends up slipping! It already happened this year!
And every year, right after Thanksgiving, our Elf on The Shelf, Daisy, always comes out and we have to find her every morning.
Every Christmas morning we go to my grandparents house and give each other presents. As you can tell I have great traditions and I love doing them with my family. Our names are Sam, Alaina, Ella, Zack and Karyn. THE NITZ’s Time Parts taken from the Song “Don’t Hug Me, I’m Scared” By Molly M. Mertens Time is a tool you put on the wall and wear it on your wrist. The past is far behind us, the future doesn’t exist, oh, what’s the time? It’s quarter to nine, it’s time for a bath, what do you mean we’re already clean. Scrub scrub scrub till the water’s brown.
Time is a ruler to measure the day doesn’t go backwards only one way, watch it go around like a merry go round watch it go fast like a merry go round, let’s go on a journey! A journey through time! Time that’s changing all the time, it’s time to go to time! But we dont really want to, were gonna miss our show, dont be stupid friends! Come on, it’s time to go!
Time is old like the olden times, like cobble and sweat and chimneys and swept for a time! Like this tree is old and has circles inside! It gets old then shrivels and dies. Like this apple is fresh to the core! It may rot over time and it’s not anymore, Now you can see the importance of time, it helps us make pizza and keeps things in line! But when does it stop? When did it start?
Time is important and I am a clock. If we run out of time where does it go? Is time even real? Does anyone know? Maybe Time is a concept of human perception and illusion created by- EHH EHH EHH EHH EHH. Time changes with the seasons, the smell of hay, look at your hair grow isn’t it strange? How time makes your appearance change. Make it stop! It’s out of my hands, I’m only a clock! I’m sure you’ll be fine! But eventually everyone runs out of time!
Christmas Writing By: Mr. Harley Hinrichs If you want to get in the Christmas spirit you can build a snowman, decorate a Christmas tree or have fun in the snow. I like to make an overgrown snowman, then l decorate it. Then I go inside to drink a hot cocoa that burns my mouth! Then we go play a board game and watch a football game too! l love football and the Green Bay Packers!
Cat Story By Chase Cappello The cat was up all night and did not even take a nap, but the dog says, “Even I catch a nap now and then, go to bed!”
“No! No! No! Let me stay awake! I am not lazy plus I don’t wanna sleep and you’re the lazy one,” the cat said.
The dog pulled the cat outside, “Go hangout with the snowman,” the dog said.
“It’s freezing! Ah! Cold! Cold! Cold!” The cat climbed up to the roof then it slipped and then tripped! And fell down!
A deer walked on the crops, before the cat saw a deer, the cat fell, the cat fell through the chimney and then the cat crashed! The dog put out a stick and the Cat clawed onto the stick. The cat is on the stick but it collapsed. The owner forgot they put glass bottles at the bottom, then the cat crashed onto the bottles! CRASH! CLASH!
The cat got injured and at last, slept. The dog dragged the cat to the bed the next day and the cat slept 8 hours. Then the cat arose and went outside… then froze!
