With reference to a portion of the Stanley Police Chief’s report on page 8, the paper is informed by the police chief that the article contained incorrect information regarding alledged calls related to “stabbigns, beatings,” and drugs. At the Council meeting Chief Weiland referenced how the City of Eau Claire had addressed these types of calls but with no intention of attributing calls to the Stanley hotel, nor calls received from the hotel with regard to such.
