The Oriole girls softball season is over. Competing against Fall Creek in a regional May 29, the Orioles came up short, the final score 9-0 in the Cricket’s favor. Orioles head coach Kim Goettl shared her thoughts on the contest.
“We knew it would be a tough match and would have to go through them to get to State,” she said. “Of course we were not happy with the way we played and the outcome of the game. But we are already planning for next year and very motivated to be in top. Three Cloverbelt teams made it to the State Tournament this year which just goes to show how tough our conference really is.”
