Ryan Ponick graduates from UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER, WI (02/08/2023)– Ryan Ponick from Stanley, WI, earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater at winter commencement, held December 17, 2022.Around 775 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. Ponick graduated with the following degree: Psychology – BA. The graduating class included five international students, 41 military veterans and 134 nontraditional students, defined as undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. In addition, 79 self-identified students with disabilities received degrees. More than 40 students participated in the university’s Hired Before Graduation campaign, which celebrates students who landed a job, earned acceptance to graduate school or started their own business before commencement.

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh announces midyear graduates OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh 58th midyear commencement Dec. 17 at Kolf Sports Center recognized the accomplishments of students from all three of its campuses (Fond du Lac, Fox Cities, Oshkosh). More than 900 students earned bachelor’s, associate, master’s and doctoral degrees and joined the ranks of more than 100,000 UWO alumni.

UW-Stevens Point undergraduates honored for scholastic achievement

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (February 14, 2023) – The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point honored more than 2,350 undergraduate students for attaining high grade point averages during the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.

Full-time undergraduates who earned grade points of 3.90 to 4.0 (4.0 equals straight A) are given the highest honors designation. High honor citations go to those with grade point averages from 3.75 to 3.89 and honor recognition is accorded to those with grade point averages from 3.50 to 3.74.

Personalized certificates of scholastic achievement are sent to those who earned highest honors distinction. Students who received honors include: Stanley, WI

UW-La Crosse announces fall 2022 Dean’s List

LA CROSSE, Wis. (February 14, 2023) – The following area students have been named to the Dean’s List at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for the fall semester of the 2022-23 academic year, ending December 2022.

Qualification for the Dean’s List is limited to students who have attained outstanding academic achievement. To be eligible, students must have earned not less than a 3.5 semester grade point average and carried a minimum of 12 credits. Students on the Dean’s List from this area include: Boyd, WI
