Proceeds will be used for Silver Award bench project, seat made by Excel Steel
They came to address the Council, and in the end the Council said…—yes!
You were expecting something else? Seriously though, who says no to bratwurst? Besides vegans, we mean.
At any rate, and as a result of the Council ‘yes,’ Girl Scout Troop 3063 will be selling the German equivalent of hot dogs (only better) on Fridays in the month of June.
More specifically and for purposes of
planning, that would be the dates of June 4, 11, 18, and 25, from 11 am until 2 pm.
The proceeds of the sale down at Soo Park in Stanley will be going toward a bench the troop is doing as part of a Silver Award project. The bench will be made by Excel Steel in the West Industrial Park.
As to the Silver Award is available to girls in sixth, seventh, or eighth grade (or equivalent) who are registered Girl Scout Cadettes and have completed a Cadette Journey, according to the Girl Scout website at www.girlscouts.org.
Come out for bratwurst in Soo Park on Fridays this June and help support a good cause.
