Cadott Area Fire & Rescue has a new fire engine. The new engine, a 2020 Spartan, with a Darley body and pump, cost in the range of $455,000 to $460,000. The engine it replaces is roughly 23 years old. Fire Chief Rick Sommerfield says the new engine will help with the ISO rating for insurance. +++ Cadott Lions deer hide coordinator Vern Weeks, announced recently that the Lions are again collecting deer hides. Donors can place their deer hides in the freezer located at the south side of the Lions Pavilion, in East Riverside Park. +++ After an extended discussion, the Cadott School Board voted in favor of mirroring the opposing team's spectator rules at sporting events. The school board also approved a roofing bid for the south side of the high school from RTS Roofing for $168,983.+++ With a heavily-laden senior volleyball team Cadott is looking to turn heads on the court this season.
