Caitlen Ketterhagen has been named the Stanley-Boyd Athlete of the Week for her exceptional performance on the court as a key player for the Oriole Girls Varsity Basketball Team. A seasoned player, Ketterhagen has been honing her skills for over eight years, starting her basketball journey in second grade.
“My favorite thing about basketball is the excitement during the game and learning new skills for basketball and in life,” says Ketterhagen.
Ketterhagen’s passion for the game and commitment to her team make her a standout player. Her journey from a young player to a varsity starter reflects her growth, both as an athlete and as a leader on the team. Her coaches praise her hard work and dedication, noting her impressive development as a starting guard. “She has worked hard to become our starting guard on the varsity team,” her coaches share. “She is one of our best shooters and ball handlers and also brings a great joy to the team. We are proud of her for her great attitude and effort.”
