Nominated for Athlete of the Week this week is senior Macie LaGrander.
“She went 17 kills on 25 attempts with 1 hitting error through all three sets!” Head Varsity Volleyball Coach Karley Wiensch said of LaGrander’s performance against Bloomer Sept. 30. “She hit a .680. She has really been hitting and connecting great with our setter Bailey! And a team captain and senior leader.”
LaGrander’s states this year include 198 kills, 45 digs, and one ace, along with seven blocks.
