A two vehicle crash on X at 67th Avenue has resulted in the death of an elderly Cadott resident.
Bonnie J. Tripp, age 74 from Cadott, was traveling eastbound on 67th Avenue west of Cadott. Upon entering the intersection with Highway X the vehicle Tripp was driving was struck on the driver’s side by a pickup traveling westbound from Cadott and driven by a 16-year-old female.
The pickup truck driver was not injured in the crash.
While life-saving measures were attempted, Tripp was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Responding agencies included Cadott Fire and EMS, Chippewa Fall EMS, the Chippewa County Coroner, and Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Department.
