Police requested for a harassment complaint in the 200 block of North Broadway Street.

Police requested for a traffic complaint at the Stanley Correctional Institution.

December 12 1:01 a.m.

Stanley Police requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with an EMS call in Boyd in the 500 block of Supple Street.

6:13 p.m.

Police requested for an EMS call at an unspecified address.

December 13 4:31 a.m.

Stanley Police requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a one-vehicle rollover near Cadott.

6:12 p.m.

Police requested to respond to a possible intruder in a residence in the 300 block of North Broadway in Stanley. Police arrived and checked the residence and no one was located in the residence.

9:18 p.m.

Police requested for a welfare check.

9:41 p.m.

Stanley Police requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a call in the 100 block of East Murray Street in Boyd.

December 15 5:09 p.m.

Traffic complaint received of a black truck traveling on Highway 29 east at mile marker 87. Complainant reported the truck almost crashed into them. Vehicle was reported to exit highway 29 at the Boyd exit.

7:00p.m.

Stanley Police were called to a check person in the 600 block of Park Avenue. Investigation showed the call to be a false alarm and everything was fine.

December 16 11:23 a.m.

Requested for a vehicle lockout. Vehicle opened.

7:17 p.m.

Police requested for an EMS/check-person call at 1120 Pine Street.

7:29 p.m.

Police requested for a crisis intervention in the 100 block of West Eighth Avenue.

8:02 p.m.

Report of child abuse received.

8:35 p.m.

Police requested for an EMS call at an unspecified address.

December 17 2:26 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a nuisance barking dog. Stanley Police responded to the 200 block of East Fifth Avenue and issued a written warning, with notice that future violation would result in a citation being issued.

2:54 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for a building check.

9:03 p.m.

Stanley Police requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop near Boyd.

December 18 5:08 a.m.

Police requested for a two-vehicle accident.

3:44 p.m.

Report received of an erratic driver traveling eastbound on highway 29 from Cadott. The vehicle was located and contact was made with the operator.

5:00 p.m.

Thomas Budzinski, age 59, cited for ongoing issues related to unregistered vehicle, appliances, and other debris outside the property he owns in the 300 block of East First Avenue.

December 19 6:11 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to the 100 block of West Eighth Avenue for a report of an employee on scene with a possible drug overdose. This investigation is ongoing.

7:58 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to the 700 block of Jefferson Street for a locked vehicle owned by the Stanley-Boyd School District. Vehicle unlocked without damage.

December 20 2:30 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist EMS with a call from the 200 block of East Tenth Avenue. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.

3:39 a.m.

Stanley Police were called to Our Lady of Victory Hospital to assist an elderly woman with an escort from the hospital to her home in the 700 block of Emery Street. Assistance was provided.

10:56 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to the area of West Eighth Avenue for a report of a vehicle parked behind the bridge barricades. A man ice fishing near the vehicle stated that he would relocate it to

Chapman Park.
