Rodeo week will be kicked off with something new this year. What used to be called the Stanley Fun Show is getting a full rebrand and upgrade and will now be the “Top Hand Challenge”. The event will take place Saturday June 13, 2026 beginning at noon at the Rodeo grounds in Stanley’s beautiful Chapman Park. There will be participants in 5 events to compete for the chance of receiving the title of Top Hand. We are raising the bar to bring in more competition, more excitement and more riders from across the area. The five events are the Speed Obstacle Course, Barrels (carry-over jackpot), Pole Bending (carry-over Jackpot), Goat Flag Grab & Keyhole. There are 4 separate age divisions, Peewee, Junior, Adult and Senior all ages are welcome. ALSO, during intermission there will be the crowning of the 1st Annual Stanley Rodeo Queen. Come on down and check it out. Brooklyn Mike’s food truck will also be available at this family-friendly event.
