There is a critical need for blood right now, so if you already have an appointment for the Stanley-Boyd Community Red Cross Blood Drive on June 3 at Holy Family Hall, please make every effort to keep that appointment. If you need to cancel it, please call Donella Christianson at 715644-3638 so the slot can be opened up for someone else. RapidPass saves donors time at the drive. Just search redcrossblood.org/rapidpass.

Eligible donors must be 17 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and feel well on the day of the drive. Sixteen-yearolds are eligible, but must present a signed Red Cross Parental Consent form, available from Donella.

If you have a medical question, please call the Red Cross medical question number, 1-866-236-3276 and if you have any other questions about donating, please call the Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767.

The need is constant and the gratification is instant.
