The D.R. Moon Memorial Library is hosting the event, “Building Connections, Past, Present, Future” to celebrate the community’s history, the present, and the future. Knowing local history is imperative to the future growth of a community. Beginning in 1901, the library has served this area for over 120 eventful years as the world has experienced some extraordinary and challenging times. Through each remarkable decade, the library has built connections between our community and the surrounding world. The momentous event will feature living history with local community members to share their first-hand experience from our community’s history. All are welcome to join on Saturday, September 30th between 1pm and 4pm at the D.R. Moon Memorial Library. Refreshments will be provided along with fun activities and games for everyone. RSVPs are appreciated but not required. More information regarding the event can be found at https://stanleylibrary.org/connections/
