The Stanley Community Association, SCA, is looking forward to spring and the much anticipated Echo’s Playground Public Dog Park becoming a reality. The park is the name sake of the infamous Echo who can be found at our naming sponsor’s place of business, Lube Suppliers. They have committed to supplying lawn care for the park for the foreseeable future. The opening of the park was anticipated last fall, but due to supply chain issues it was pushed to this year. Smith’s Restoration will be donating the chain link fencing and installation costs. There are still several costs the SCA is looking for help covering such as fence posts, signage, shade covering, and ongoing costs. Anyone who donates $500 or more will get their name on a donor sign at the park. Those who donate less than that will be mentioned on social media and newspaper acknowledgments. Checks can be mailed to SCA, PO Box 11, Stanley, WI. 54768 with dog park in the memo. For other donations methods, interested donors can email sca54768@gmail.com. The SCA appreciates all the support already given for this project.
