Echo’s Playground is taking shape south of Chapman Lake in Stanley, with SCA President Kristi Weiland sharing more last Thursday on progress for the park named after Echo, the dog of Steve and Jessica Millen at Lube Suppliers.
“Echo’s Playground will be a free, public dog park sponsored by Lube Suppliers and the Stanley Community Association, SCA,” she said. “Smith’s Restoration started putting in the fencing today. The SCA is working on getting all the other aspects of the park in order and will announce a grand opening date in the near future. Until then we ask people do not utilize the park yet.
“We will have a full list of donors and supporters when we are ready to open.”
