The Town of Thorp is unchanged in terms of candidates, as Supervisor Jack Leja rescinded his earlier decision not to seek re-election and another candidate nominated for Leja’s position later changed his mind.
In Worden, the race to watch is between Jeff Gadke and Art Stolp for outgoing supervisor Ed Kosik’s seat, after Kosik decided not to seek re-election. No other seats in Worden are being contested.
For the Town of Wilson, meanwhile, the spread is somewhat similar, with most seats uncontested outside the current incumbent, the exception being Aaron Vizier’s seat, contested by Dusty Bergman. With Daniel Meyer as chair, Ed Shilts as first supervisor, Danielle Barka for clerk and Tammy Haas for treasurer, there isn’t much due to change in terms of the Wilson town board. As to Stanley-Boyd School Board races, Lori Klonowski-Cooley is facing down Chad Verbeten in Area One, with Ryan Lewallen also up for re-election. District residents can vote for any two school board candidates, but candidates themselves must live in the specific area they seek to represent
