Happy Winter

Christmas to me Christmas is like my day because I see my family on those days. It is a Christmas life. but even if Coivid 19 is here it doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate Christmas.

From Hayden Goebel.

MERRY CHRISTMAS I wake up and open the presents and then go to my dad’s house and then after, I go to parties and then I get home and go to bed. THE END Logan Halvorson What Christmas means by: Derrick When you put presents under your tree, it is a symbol of the gifts that Jesus got when he was just a baby. Those presents were not what you would get nowadays, the presents consisted of seasonings, gold, and silver. When you celebrate make sure to spend time with your family and friends. Say thanks to your family for being there for you. The ornaments that you could have made represent the great life that you lived. Take a trip back in time and remember how Jesus might have helped you and have a Merry Christmas.

What does Christmas mean to you? Christmas to me is spending time with my family and making them smile and laugh and I also like chilling and watching Christmas movies on Christmas. I have to tell you a secret, Christmas isn’t about the presents, Christmas is actually about family and joy and having fun with the family, not about the presents. Remember that everybody, not about presents, about family do not worry about the toys, worry about love, joy, and laughter.

From Ariona What Christmas means to me What Christmas means to me is spending time with my mom, and step-dad.We always go to my aunt’s house every year. We have a big feast every year. We will open presents By Dirk Gilles cocoa. Joe Benson I think that Christmas is about family. We always go to our grandma’s home.

This year we are going to have Christmas at our home. Sometimes we kids sneak candy and share it and we just chill. Sometimes we go outside and play and come in and drink hot presents. day is actually Jesus’s date of birth. But, Christmas is also about family. I love seeing the smiles on my siblings’ faces on Christmas morning. And when we go to have a family Christmas all the kids are glad to see each other. I love seeing them happy and meeting new family. Haleigh S Nawrocki Advent Calendars By Alexis Baughman A family tradition that I have is opening advent calendars.

An advent calendar is a box with little doors and each door counts up until December 24th. In every door there are treats or toys and opening them is like getting a little present up until Christmas eve.

You can make your own advent calendars too. You just need to get a box or bag. Then you get 24 little brown paper bags and _ll them with whatever you

want.

I started this tradition about 3 years ago when my dad met my step-mom. It is fun and if you don’t do advent calendars then I recommend you start.

What I do for Christmas What I do for christmas, is I go to my grandma’s house and eat dinner then the adults talk for a little bit and the kids go snowboarding. Then after a little bit we go one by one opening our What Christmas means to me is getting presents and spending lots of time with your family. You can also send a Christmas card in the mail to wish people a Merry Christmas. When you are with your family, you get to see the smiling faces of your family when you’re together. You can also make Christmas candies for your family. If you can’t be with your family, then you can celebrate on video call, or send a text saying Merry Christmas on Christmas day. You can also gather round and decorate the Christmas tree.

London Lodahl To me Christmas is… To me Christmas is not all about the presents it’s about Jesus and family. Christmas Mr. Helmsing’s Fifth Grade Class How Winter Became By Mariah Wehling One warm, humid, pitch black night a young girl called Mari sat cooling off in front of the fan. Mari was just nodding off when she heard a noise at the door. She awoke with a start. She crept up to the door. Mari opened the door very slowly. Creeeaaak! Out in the humid warmth was a curled up pure white puppy. Mari scooped him up in her warm gentle arms and set him down in front of the fan. Mari watched as the puppy started to stir. She decided to name him Winter. She also soon realized that Winter had special cooling powers because everytime he sneezed she felt a rush of cold air.

Mari decided that she and Winter would cool down the earth for a couple of months out of every year. Pretty soon every Christmas day Winter and Mari went outside to summon beautiful crystals of ice so that people could play and snuggle up. Soon they began to summon ice and snow a couple months out of the year. The world knew this time of year as winter. The people were glad about this cool time of the year and decided to make Christmas one day in winter. The people would celebrate and have family over. All over the world the people loved winter. This is how winter became!

SAM’S WINTER By Samuel Benjamin Slowiak It was a nice morning. I looked out the window and there was snow everywhere. Then I saw my grandpa in his skid steer pushingsnow. Igotdressed and ran down stairs. I snuck in the sunroom, got my winter gear on and ran outside. I saw the snow hill. I decided to get the shovel from the garage to start digging.

When I saw grandpa coming back, I went on top of the snow hill where I saw my brother, Avery. I told him we have to run because grandpa was coming. Then my brother and I started to make snowballs. We threw the snowballs at the skid steer! Grandpa turned the skid steer and dumped the snow on the snowhill. When the snow hill was completed, we played on it for the whole day.

Happy winter!
