Faith Evangelical Free Church welcomed families to its annual Kickoff Carnival on Tuesday, August 27, at 6 p.m., celebrating the start of its fall youth programs.
The evening offered a variety of carnival-style fun for all ages, including bowling, fishing for prizes, a puppet show, an inflatable slide and bounce house, face painting, balloon animals, ring toss and more. Families also enjoyed free treats such as popcorn, sno cones, cotton candy and ice cream courtesy of Scoops Ice Cream.
The carnival served as the official kickoff for Faith Evangelical Free’s Wednesday night youth ministries. Beginning each week at 6 p.m., the church offers Kids Club for elementary ages and Youth Group for students in grades 6–12.
This fall, Kids Club will begin with a special five-part September series called Timeless. Throughout the series, children will learn that God’s love and faithfulness never change—and that they can seek Him anytime.
Youth Group provides middle and high school students with a safe and welcoming space to build friendships, study Scripture, and deepen their understanding of God. Students are encouraged to use their spiritual gifts in ministry, take part in mission opportunities, and boldly live out their faith at school, at home, and at work.
Families interested in joining are invited to attend Kids Club or Youth Group every Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Faith Evangelical Free Church.
