Boyd Chamber to do fireworks, show starts at dusk
After months of being cooped up inside, the time is finally nigh when parents and kids alike can get out and do summer things without excess fear of catching or spreading COVID-19.
As such, the Boyd Chamber will be doing fireworks at dusk this July 8, while for Little League the plans include kickball, a bouncy house (already mentioned), ice cream, music, and cotton candy. Oh yeah, there might be a chance to dunk the coaches in a dunk tank as well, though this hasn't been finalized. Why not come out for the show?
School may be out, but there’s plenty for the kids to do, as this photo shows from last Thursday at Lotz Park. With sunny weather the stands were packed, though a few trees in the park did show fallen branches from just hours earlier, when a quick storm heading southeast drenched the area in rain for a brief period. Come July 8, it's fireworks time! Staff photo.
