Forward Bank is encouraging children ages 12 and under to learn about saving money and the environment while participat – ing in the annual Piggy Bank Project. Kids are challenged to create a piggy bank out of recyclable or found materials from their home. Families can drop off the piggy bank creations at a Forward Bank location near them by Friday, April 15th to be entered. An employee will take a photo of the child and their creation to be uploaded to a Facebook album. The community will vote on the most creative piggy bank Thursday, April 21st – Monday, April 25th. Voting ends at 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Each "like" counts as one vote. The top three piggy banks in each community will receive a prize! Winner(s) will be notified the following week and announced on social media. Piggy banks will be on display in lobbies Monday, April 18th – Monday, April 25th. Participants may pick up their creations the following week.
