The team at Forward Bank – including Forward Insurance and Forward Investment Services – continues to be recognized as a Best Bank to work for. Being named on the 2022 list makes it six years in a row that the organization is applauded for the culture and support given to the staff.
“We love celebrating the successes of our full Forward team each year,” commented Bill Sennholz, CEO of Forward Bank. “Hearing that we have made the Best Banks list again has not lost its excitement. This is news that we love sharing with our team from the Board of Directors through every member of our family. They all bring the drive, energy and ideas that continually makes Forward’s culture one of the best in the state and in banking overall.”
The Best Banks to Work For program, which was initiated in 2013 by American Banker and Best Companies Group, identifies, recognizes and honors U.S. banks for outstanding employee satisfaction. Full results of this year’s program are available at HYPERLINK “http://www.americanbanker. com” h American Banker and in the November issue of American Banker Magazine.
Determining the Best Banks to Work For involves a two-step process. The first step involves an evaluation of participating companies’ workplace policies, practices, and demographics. In the second step, employee surveys are conducted to directly assess the experiences and attitudes of individual employees with respect to their workplace. The combined scores determine the top banks and the final ranking.
Best Companies Group managed the overall registration, in-depth survey process, and analyzed the data using their expertise to determine the final ranking. Selection to the list represents a significant investment of time by the bank and all their staff members each year. The program is open to commercial banks, thrifts, savings banks, and other chartered retail financial institutions with at least 50 employees in the United States.
“Our Board is extremely proud of the contributions that everyone makes to move Forward to higher levels of success each year,” commented Al Michalski, Chairman of the Forward Bank Board. “We have watched this team achieve Best Banks status through pandemics, core conversions, and moving into new markets. It is a testament to the character and shared purpose that all our team members hold dear.”
