I only nominate players I think could play for every team in the conference and contribute to that team somehow. Bailey can catch fire and has multiple games of 4 or more threes.”

Girls Head Basketball Coach Ryan Wundrow

Cloverbelt All Conference listings are out for basketball, and four Orioles have made the listings for the Western Cloverbelt.
The four Orioles are junior Bailey Sikora (Second Team Girls), sophomore Charlie Hoel (Second Team Boys), senior Logan Gray (Second Team Boys), and freshman Josiah Demske (Honorable Mention Boys).
Orioles girls varsity head coach Ryan Wundrow shared thoughts on Sikora.
“Bailey is our best shooter and a very good rebounder,” Wundrow said. “I only nominate players I think could play for every team in the conference and contribute to that team somehow. Bailey can catch fire and has multiple games of 4 or more threes. Other coaches are constantly shouting “shooter” when she catches the ball. When that happens, you know people are noticing their skill.”
Orioles boys varsity head coach Dakota Nichols shared thoughts in turn on Hoel, Gray, and Demske.
“Charlie, Logan, and Josiah’s all-conference basketball awards are a testament to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork,” Nichols said. “Throughout the offseason, they pushed each other to improve and gained a lot of confidence heading into this year. Their commitment to basketball paid off as they became key contributors to their team’s success. Their recognition highlights not only their individual talent but also their ability to work together and elevate each other’s game. Their selflessness and relentless effort embody the spirit of true team players. I’m proud to be the coach of this team and I like the direction we’re headed as a group.”
