With a few tricks up his sleeve, magician Curtis Hed (left) left middle school students and teachers wide-eyed and smiling during his visit to Stanley-Boyd Schools. Using a blend of humor and magic, Hed inspired students to see reading as fun and exciting—reminding them that books can be just as magical as any trick.

Students from both the elementary and middle school gathered for a magical experience as Curtis Hed dazzled with illusions and interactive tricks. Hed later brought his magical performance to the Stanley-Boyd Schools' Spring Family Event, where families enjoyed an evening filled with wonder, laughter, and a celebration of reading.
