Taking their game on the road last week, the Lady Orioles traveled to Cadott Dec. 6, followed with an appearance at Thorp on Friday, Dec. 9.
Falling to the Hornets with a final score of 68-26, the Orioles rebounded to win at Thorp 65-44. The week’s play brings their record so far to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in Conference. Coach Alison Becker reflected on the week’s play, and future team prospects.
“Being somewhat healthier helped us perform better vs Thorp,” she said. “It was a great team effort, everyone gave it their all that game.” As to Cadott, Becker said the Orioles plan to be healthy and injury free to give a better fight next time.
“Cadott is a strong team this year in our conference,” she said. “However next matchup, we hope to all be healthy and injury free and give them a better fight that round.”
