The Stanley-Boyd area has rallied after a home fire at 513 Ninth Avenue in Stanley. Samantha Hall, friend of Imani Solsrud, has set up a Go Fund Me for Imani’s mom Shauntia Hale, who lost her home in a fire Sunday, July 12.
Hall shared more in a post Go Fund Me under the fundraiser entitled “Help Shauntia Rebuild Her Life:”
“Hi everyone, my name is Samantha, and I created this GoFundMe to help support my best friend’s mom.
I’ve been friends with Imani Solsrud (Mcknight) and have known her family for over 20 years. Last night, something devastating happened - her mom, Shauntia Hale, lost her home in a fire, and her vehicle was also destroyed. She was left with nothing.
“Any donation, no matter the amount, will help her tremendously. If you’re not able to give, we would be so grateful if you could share this fundraiser.
“Most of all, if you could keep her and her family in your prayers, we truly believe in the power of prayer. Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support.”
As of Monday afternoon the fund had raised almost $6,000.
