Greg Burzynski takes helm at Stanley-Boyd Middle School

Stanley-Boyd Middle School has a new face as middle school princi- pal, and he's an alumnus!

Coming out of closed session at its February 21, 2022 board meeting, the Stanley-Boyd Board of Education voted to hire long-time wrestling coach and success coordinator Greg Burzynski, who previously graduated with the Stanley-Boyd Class of 1999. Motion made by Toni Seidl and seconded by Denise Hoffstatter, then passing unanimously.

Burzynski's hiring comes in the wake of the resignation of David Ludy last November, an insight based on December meeting minutes.

Following graduation from Stanley- Boyd, Burzynski went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from the Uni versity of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Kinesiology-Physical Education with a certificate in Adapted Physical Ed ucation. Following this, he obtained a Master's Degree from Silver Lake College in Administrative Leader – ship, first coming to Stanley-Boyd in 2011 as a high school physical education teacher.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to serve our school in a new role," he said. "I will continue to do everything I can to help our middle school students be as successful as possible in both academics and in their daily lives.”
