Hansen’s IGA in Stanley is now offering its customers a curbside grocery service at the store, located at 218 Washington Street off South Broadway. Intended especially for those who are at greatest risk from potential exposure to COVID-19 during this time, the new curbside grocery service is nonetheless available to all, with call-in grocery orders being taken at the store on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by order pick up at the store from Noon to 4:00 p.m., also on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hansen’s IGA store manager Alex Zamarippa said that area residents can call the grocery store when they come to pick up their prior order, and that IGA staff will meet them outside. In addition, Zamarippa reported that a group of volunteers is currently coming together to deliver groceries for area seniors through the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Chippewa County.
