Hixwood Metal located southeast of Stanley will host an open house on Wednesday Oct. 5 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at N14685 Copenhaver Avenue.
Included with the Open House will be a Nail Pounding and Screw Driving Competition as well as facility tours, food and fun, along with kids games and giveaways.
A part of the larger Ambassador Supply network out of Fort Wayne Indiana as of 2020, Hixwood offers steel coil, metal fabrication, custom trim, roofing and insulation, windows, doors, and shutters, with a focus on rural buildings.
As to directions on getting to Hixwood, readers can avoid Highway 29 by taking County H south of Stanley to turn east on MM to connect with N and turn north on Copenhaver, or else (from Thorp)
take Highway 73 to turn west on N and then north on Copenhaver.
They can also cross Highway 29 at Copenhaver from the north, making sure to stop before the in- tersection. Come out and tour the new facility Oct. 5!
