No insurance in Christmas Eve loss, benefit planned for future
A Christmas Eve fire has resulted in the loss of hearth and home along with animals for Tony and Ann Goettl, of 409 Pine Court in Stanley.
The Goettl’s have lost their home, belongings and even their cats. Unfortunately they do not have any insurance coverage.
Stanley Fire Dept was among those who responded and helped board up the home.
Reclaimed Tavern in Stanley has a collection jar for monetary assistance to help the family with immediate needs. A fundraiser has also been started at Go Fund Me under the title “Stanley, WI Vet, homeless Dec. 24 after house fire,” with search term “Stanley WI Vet” bringing the fundraiser up.
