Happy birthday Lilly and Lucille! It was a busy week with new residents joining our Homeplace family. Welcome Jack and Bonnie who are long time residents of the area and we welcomed Patricia with a welcome basket.
Welcome Patricia , Jack & Bonnie! One of our new residents started calling bingo on Monday’s Cheryl is a great caller, she’s very witty. When I came to see how things were going on Monday and I could hear laughter coming from the dining area where they were playing. Everyone was having the most fun I heard them have in a while. Keep up the fun Cheryl we love it!
Late Friday (Veteran’s Day) someone dropped off home made Veterans Day Cards for our Vets from a local church in Stanley, it was a great gesture you made our Veterans day, Fred smiled from ear to ear, I don’t think they hear it enough, saying thanks for your service is a small gesture that goes a long way, our service men and women sacrificed a lot to serve our country, they should be thanked everyday .Thanks to all the children that helped make the cards for our veterans! Thanks to all our Veterans!
Some of our residents made sun catchers this week, Thanksgiving themed, they turned out adorable, we made scarecrows, Pumpkins, pilgrims and turkeys.
