This will be the last update on our sunflowers we started indoors this spring there’s only a few lonely survivors June has one on her deck it’s about 6” tall there is one on the patio where we feed the birds it’s about 4” tall and on my deck there is one that is at least 8” tall and another that decided to grow sideways, we are proud of the few that survived and hopefully we have better luck with our seedlings next spring, the RCAC ladies loved watching their sun flower grow!
This week we welcomed another resident to her new home she seemed to adjust well she was playing bingo and meeting other residents getting right into the swing of things .Way to go Sharon can’t wait to get to know you.
Sharon had fun playing bingo she didn’t win but was very excited to see we play for candy bars and other snacks, our winners were Bernice she is on a streak John, Cyndi and Joann.
At our church service the pastor mentioned the passing of one of our longtime residents Rita we said a prayer for her and she will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
