Tuesday Joann was a busy bee and worked on a lot of her jigsaw puzzle, Yvonne colored and Kathy and Betty looked through magazines. Groceries were also delivered to all tenants and residents who ordered.

On Wednesday, Walt Wartolec played wonderful concertina music for us all. He also had shared with us his abundant knowledge of every song he played. John, Joann, Esther, Rita, June, Monica, Barb, Lilly, Bernice, Jules, Ed, Carol, Dorothy, Bunny, Marge, Kathy, Betty and Anna all listened to his musical wonders. He played songs such as “Living for the Service,” “In the Army Now,” “Mary be Mine,” “Barbara Polka,” and “Edelweiss.” John and Monica danced together to several songs.

Thursday morning, many walked through the general store to see if there were any special deals. June, Jackie, Esther, Monica, Dennis, Jules, Carol, and Dorothy were all customers. After lunch, Bernice, Monica, Al, John, Dorothy, Jules, Ed, Bunny, June, Barb, Susan, Marilyn, Esther, Denny, Joann and Rita attended bingo while Sandi called. We had many regular bingo winners and Al was our Blackout winner!

Betty, Yvonne, and Kathy played balloon bop together while listening to music. Dorothy went outside to pull weeds in the garden and to admire our tomatoes that are ready to eat! Denny, Jules and John played some card games and Earl and Susan flipped through puzzle books.
