Residents and tenants savored a delicious red, white and blue snack on Memorial Day! They had red grapes, bananas and blueberries to enjoy during snack ‘n’ chat. Esther celebrated her birthday with a big cake, a card and lots of visits from family and friends.

Tuesday, John, Jules, Marilyn, Monica, Sandi and Bunny pushed a few tables together, pulled up some chairs and circled around to play several card games. They played “pig” and “king’s corner.” John ended up winning the most rounds in “king’s corner.” Dorothy played 500 Rummy with staff. Jules and Dorothy watered our flowers outside. Marilyn and Monica played more cards outside in the patio because it was a beautiful evening.

Wednesday, Susan, Dorothy and Carol S visited the patio and planted more annuals.

They planted some gorgeous supertunias and superbells that will brighten up the backyard.

Thursday afternoon, Dorothy and Esther enjoyed the sun’s rays and pulled some weeds by the front entrance. Bunny celebrated her birthday with cupcakes and company from her family!

The shoppers at the general store on Thursday morning were Joann, Sandi, Pat, Monica, Dennis and Marilyn. Sandi received a manicure and Les and Jules helped decorate the June calendars.
