Monday we put together a few ingredients from the kitchen and made up suet for our outdoor feathery friends. June, Gloria, Yvonne, Kathy, Dorothy, Cindy, Monica, Bunny, Pat, Barb, Bernice, Les, and Earl all helped with the mixing and molding process. Those who visited the general store were Marge, Bob, Fred and Sandi.

Tuesday morning the beautician was in town, Sandi, Fred, Alice, Barb, Loren, Craig, Pat Q, John, Earl and Sharon received haircuts. Sandi and Lonaine battled it out in a friendly card game of 500 Rummy. Groceries were also delivered to all of those that ordered. Yvonne, Kathy, and Sharon participated in magazine fun and read through pages of magazines with recipes and flowers in them.

Gloria, June and Esther completed a challenging crossword puzzle together on Wednesday. Dennis, Barb, Pat, Bernice, Bunny and Monica circled around the game table to play “shut the box” dice game. After that, they played a few rounds of the card game “pig” and Dennis talked everyone through the game “ranter-go-around.”

Thursday morning, the store was opened and Joann, Lonaine, Esther, Dennis, Susan, and Les purchased items. Manicures were given to Gloria, Sandi, Kathy, Yvonne, Loren, Barb and Bunny. After lunch, Ed, Pat, Les, Lilly, Earl, and Cliff participated in discussing cunent events while enjoying a refreshing soda.

On Friday, Yvonne colored in adult coloring books while Kathy and Sharon sang along to some classic songs. Les went for a walk outside to enjoy the beautiful weather.
