We had many shoppers at the general store, Al, Marge, Monica, Sandi and Jules. After shopping, Les, Earl, Susan, Esther, Lorraine, Joann, Gloria, Pat Q, Bunny, Monica, Les, and Susan worked with colorful sand art. They poured brightly colored sand in unique shaped bottles.
To celebrate Mardi Gras, everyone enjoyed a Mardi Gras cupcake with sparkling juice and worked on word searches and colored to decorate for the festive day. Al, Marge, Esther and Rita participated in a bead toss game where the object of the game was to toss as many string of beads around a noodle in one minute as one could.
Wednesday was Random Act of Kindness day and to spread the kindness, tenants and residents shared kind and encouraging words to each other from kindness pull tabs that were placed around the building.
Thursday morning, Fred, Monica, Dennis, Carol B, bought snacks and supplies at the general store. Sandi, Monica, Loren, and Bunny received manicures prior to lunch. After lunch, Les, Dennis, Ed, Anna, Marilyn, Barb, Pat, Bunny, Susan, Bernice, Monica, Dorothy and Cindy all tried out their luck in bingo! Dorothy was our blackout winner!
On Friday, Yvonne stayed busy coloring, Les listened to music, Ed and Pat W discussed world events, and Sharon sang along with some tunes playing on the radio
