Monday the general store opened up, many of our folks purchased items and enjoyed shopping. Rita, Joann, Esther, Al, Marge, Monica, Pat, Dennis, Jules and Carol B visited the general store. In the afternoon, residents and tenants wrote and sent out Valentine cards to their loved ones.

On Tuesday, Lilly, Les, Earl and Cliff stuck their hands into kinetic sand. Working with the sand is a fun way to help strengthen one’s grip. Sandi and Lorraine played 500 Rummy. Barb, Bunny, Monica and Pat played the card game “Pig.” It was their first time playing and they all agreed they wanted to play again.

Right away on Wednesday Carol S video chatted with her family. Residents received Valentine cards from Our Lady of Victory Hospital and Precious Care Center and Preschool. June and Sandi put their heads together to complete a tough crossword puzzle in the afternoon. Yvonne, Kathy, Les, Earl, Cliff, Ed and Anna played balloon bop.

Thursday morning began with Joann, Sandi, June, Rita, Gloria, Esther, Monica, Jules, and Pat visiting the general store. They turned in their bingo tickets for somr items in the store. Craig celebrated his birthday with a cake made and decorated by our wonderful cook. Anna, Lilly, Earl, Cindy and Kathy all had manicures. After lunch, we had a Valentine’s bingo. Everyone received stuffed animals for prizes. Sandi, Lorraine, June, Joann, Esther, Gloria, Rita, Ed, Jules, Susan, Bernice, Monica, Bunny, and Pat all enjoyed playing and loved their prizes!

Friday Yvonne worked through her coloring books while Kathy looked through magazines. Carol S received a manicure while Marilyn watched her favorite show on television. Dennis, Barb and Monica got together and played a few rounds of cards on their Friday afternoon.
