Monday, the general store open and Fred, Sandi, Al, and Marge, Jules, Ed, and Monica all did some shopping. After that residents made cut out snowflakes.

Tuesday morning Sandi, Lorraine, Esther and Becky gathered together to play 500 Rummy. Lorraine was our big winner! In the afternoon, Yvonne and Kathy colored. Della was all smiles after video chatting with her family. Tuesday was also grocery day and if anyone wanted, they had them ordered and delivered to them.

On Wednesday, Dennis, Esther and Rita gathered to play “What Do You Meme?” game. The three had a good time learning the funny game. Yvonne played balloon bop and Della played cards with staff.

On New Year’s Eve, Sandi, Lorraine, and Joann visited the store and bought an item or two. Shortly after the store was closed the nail salon was opened and Sandi, Lorraine, Monica, Bernice, Barb, Loren and Susan received manicures. New Year’s Eve lunch was special with meatballs, fresh veggies, and cheese, sausage and crackers. Sparkling juice and delicious cookies were also served. Hats were passed out to wear along with New Year’s word searches and word scramble games.

We welcomed the new year on Friday by writing down our new year’s resolutions while drinking hot chocolate! Yum!
