As Christmas is coming soon, it was time to send out Christmas cards. Many residents and tenants wrote and sent out cards to their loved ones on Monday. The general store was also opened up and Sandi, Esther, Joann, Lorraine, and Carol did some shopping.

Tuesday Esther, Lorraine and Sandi played a round of 500 Rummy in the morning. In the afternoon Jules, Bernie, Bernice, and Monica pitched in to put up a Christmas tree. It had so many pretty colored lights on it and very beautiful ornaments. Les filled the bird feeders outside the patio so the hungry birds could fill their bellies again.

On Wednesday, Pat, Monica and Susan cut and tied their own fleece pillows together. Kathy L and Carol B received manicures while listening and singing to Christmas music.

On Thursday, Sandi, Monica, June, Esther, Lorraine, Pat, Susan and Dennis stopped in the store to shop. After lunch we had Christmas Bingo. Anyone who got a bingo got to pick a Christmas decoration out for a prize. Everyone won at least one time. Some were especially lucky and won 3 or 4 times. Those who played were John, Barb, Pat, Monica, Bernie, June, Esther, Joann, Rita, Lorraine, Al, Marjorie and Sandi. Those who received manicures were Cliff, Lilly, Les, Ed, Cindy and Carol S.

On Friday we received a huge donation of indoor plants. There were many plants to go around. It certainly brightened our day! Yvonne, Kathy and Carol B put a puzzle together and colored too. Les, Lilly and Ed listened to Christmas songs and were quizzed with some trivia questions.
