Yvonne, Kathy H, Kathy L, and Rosie cut pictures out of magazines and started a collage, they also cut pictures of themselves out and made a few scrapbook pages. Sandi and Monica also made their own scrapbook page with them in it. Bernie flipped through pages of an old scrapbook.

Tuesday was our new grocery day, tenants and residents ordered their groceries and had them delivered. Becky, and Kathy L helped staff put up the new September calendars. Sandi and June completed an entire community crossword puzzle together. Della zoom chatted with family before suppertime.

Wednesday morning Cliff and Jerry played bean bags. Lilly sang some songs with the music playing. She also worked on stretching and strengthening her arms. Rosie, Yvonne and Kathy L colored while Carol B went through her word search book. After lunch, Lorraine played a game of Chinese checkers, Gloria played the card game “war” and talked outside on the patio with Becky and Sandy who were both enjoying the beautiful weather. Les, Cliff and Lilly stepped outside for a bit to listen to stories that were read to them. One story was about county fairs and the other was a humorous story about a husband making homemade noodles for his wife and kids.
