How to find your match these days

Nona: You wrote last week about that great new dating site that lots of people in Lublin have been using. I decided to try Taylor County Mingle for myself. So far, the only call I got was from my ex-wife asking me if I knew where the remote control for the console TV was. That site stinks worse than I do.

Stinky Pete Dear Stinky: This is an advice column. I don't know if you understand how that works. You, or youse if you are re-ally an Lublinite, are supposed to ask a question. Then, I tap into my base of wisdom and tell you how it goes. You Lublin grammar experts are pointing out right now that my last sentence was not grammatically correct in the Lublin method if the term 'youse' was used in-stead of 'you.' I went with 'you are.' However, the students who went through the Lublin Grammar School know that Old Mrs. Spellzrealbad can tell you that if you the proper us of yous is 'youse is' not 'you are.' Youse is actually better used in a question, like 'Is youse gonna come wit me to da feed mill?' OK, I'm getting off topic here. Yes, Stinky, after I received your letter, I looked you up on Taylor County Mingle.

I t's no wonder that you can't find a date. for the benefit of our readers who aren't Taylor County Mingle memers, there's Pete's ad (ladies, he's available if youse wantsa call him!): 'I need good woman. The last one took my console TV in the deevorce. Plus, she kicked me out onaccounta I don't shower so much. The other fellas’ old ladies don't make them take baths envy mont, why the heck should I? Call me or come on do down to the feed mill and help me load my truck. Hurry.'

I really hope no one answers your ad.
