Icy roads likely cause of CTH H rollover

Icy roads contributed to a one vehicle rollover crash on County Road H just north of 90th street on Friday, March 17. The driver of the vehicle was traveling northbound on CTH H when his vehicle hit a patch of ice and he lost control, entering the ditch where his vehicle flipped over. Stanley First Responders work to extricate the driver out of the overturned vehicle. Boyd Ambulance, Stanley Police Department, and the Chippewa County Sheriff’s office also responded to the scene. Thankfully the driver was wearing his seatbelt and was able to walk away. After Boyd EMS tended to the driver, he declined medical transport. Photo by Danielle Boos.
