Jack L. Tomkowiak, 69 of Stanley, WI passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, January 31st at Marshfield Medical Center in Eau Claire.
Jack was born at the Stanley Hospital to the late Paul and Martha (Filipeck) Tomkowiak on, August 22, 1953.
Jack was a union welder and held multiple auto mechanic certificates. Jack was always willing to pass on his knowledge and enjoyed spending time with his grandson Jake. Jack spent much of his time working on projects with friends.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, his brother David Tomkowiak and grandson Jared John.
Jack is survived by his wife Pearl and children David (Amy) Shilts of Arab, AL, Scott (Jill) Tomkowiak of Cadott, WI, Angela Ackley (Fiancé John Grindle) of Boyd, WI, Jimmey (Julie) Lane of Thorp, WI, Jessica (Rodney) Pelzek of Evansville, WI, Amanda Tomkowiak, Charles Tomkowiak both of Chippewa Falls, WI, Julia (Sergey) Sytsevich of Stanley, WI, Jack (Katie) Tomkowiak of Bloomer, WI and 26 grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings; Paul Tomkowiak of Eau Claire, WI, Betty (Richard) O’Mara of Chippewa Falls, WI, Dorothy Wiggins of Cle Elam, WA, Sally (Gene) Folczyk of Chippewa Falls, WI, Joan (Jerry) Morgan of Eau Claire, WI, Ronald Tomkowiak (Deb Brown) of Stanley, WI, Roxie (Pete) Rudawski of Boyd, WI, Dick Robinson of Stanley, WI, Charlie (Jean) Robinson of Boyd, WI and Linda Solano of Eau Claire, WI.
Following Jacks wishes, there will not be a service. We will celebrate his life in August (date TBD) for his 70th birthday.
