Why the Stanley Lions need you
What locally do we need help with?
Annually, Lions prepare and serve picnic style meals to those living at Sunset Homes, Moon Park Apartments and Country Terrace. Delivery to Stanley and distribution of the Chippewa County Spirit of Christmas gifts to area families. Semi-annual cleaning of trash from 2 miles of Highway 29 east to Stanley. Maintenance of the Learning Trail at Chapman Park. Vision screening of children attending the Stanley- Boyd Schools. Helping individuals and families who have experienced life changing events. The Stanley Lions Club awards five annual scholarships to Stanley-Boyd graduates each year.
Driving stranded patients home from Aspirus Stanley Hospital. Driving donated eyes from Stanley to Eau Claire for transportation to the Eye Bank at UW Hospital in Madison, where they give sight to a person in need. “We Serve” and need assistance to continue these community services.
