The Knights will hold their annual Tootsie Roll drive from April 11 to the 13th. KC volunteers will be at the Hansen’s IGA all three days giving away tootsie rolls to individuals that donate to help the intellectual disabled people in Wisconsin. In 2024, the council collected $1466.95. The Stanley-Boyd School and the Cadott Special Education Departments each received $660.13. Team Wisconsin Special Olympics received $149.95 which will help pay for the expenses to send the athletes to the special Olympics every four years. We also send $488.88 from what we collected to the State Council. The State Council has over $140,000.00 to distribute throughout the state that requested funds through a grant application. Organizations that work with People with Intellectual Disabilities are encouraged to apply for these funds. If interested in receiving some of these funds, contact our local KC council.
