Dear Editor:
I am writing on an article in the Stanley Republican Sept. 4th. It was in the Looking Back Column about all of the teachers from that era 70 years ago, Sept. 1, 1955. One of those teachers was Joyce Samuelson. She first taught at Owen, Kippenhan and Busy Bee, then at Dodge who I had in the late 60s and early 70s. And there were Amy Shilts at Boyd, Dorothy Schneider at Cadott. I’ve learned a lot from them. In the last 40 some years, you might say they have left a huge impress on us, on us all like Mrs. Bob Cance, Christine Jankoski, and Mrs. Art Zien. The fundamentals of learning is key. It’s the key to your success and its what you make it, and without them, we may have not done it alone, without your true teaching technique or methods.
I thank you,
Frank Thill
From a former student. Yet still I graduated from Fall Creek.
