President’s resignation leaves full slate of board positions open
Nevin Lein has decided to find other ways to help out the D. R. Moon Memorial Library in Stanley, Wisconsin. The long-
serving President of the Friends tendered his resignation as of
adjournment of June 29th, 2021.
Lein's decision, made known via email to newspaper staff,
means that the Friends of the Library board will need a whole
new officer slate: President, Vice-President; Treasurer, and Secretary in order to have it function properly now and into the future addition project.
At the time of his resignation Lein was the only remaining
board member serving as such, after Treasurer Eugene Felix moved to Arizona in 2016 with Susan Anderson taking over Felix's duties, until Anderson passed away, as did Felix just recently in Arizona.
With this being the case, officers will be needed to fill out the Friends board and get the potential addition project rolling again.
