Like horses?
Come on out to Life Lessons with a Horse and a two-day riding clinic at Integrity Horsemanship at N14952 Lark Avenue between Stanley and Thorp.
Starting Thursday, Aug. 27, the weekend starts with an event entitled Saddle Up for Kids from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is open to anybody who has an interest in how horses can be used to inspire children, especially in elementary schools and similar settings.
The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. event will be followed in the evening by Life Lessons with a Horse, hosted by Dr. Lew Sterrett. Martino’s Pizza will be on site, with Dr. Sterrett speaking about leadership, horsemanship, relationships, and biblical principles.
Come Friday and Saturday there will be a two day riding clinic. Pre-registration is required, with people able to ride their own horse for the clinic. Those wishing to register may call or text Lorelle at 715-777-5205. The clinic will have a maximum of 10 riders, allowing for good hands-on experience with Sterrett.
Come Saturday evening, there will be the Sermon on the Mount...with a Horse. Sterrett will return to the ring along with cowboy Dallas Sparks, who will speak on a title called “Are you Worthy?” Sterrett will take an untrained horse and seek to ride him in less than 90 minutes, while discussing biblical principles and leadership along the way.
Event sponsors include Fire Pro of Greenwood, Wisconsin, Chwala’s Construction of Stanley, WAXX 104.5,  Horseman’s Connection Magazine, and Meridian Transformation Coaching LLC.
Come on out the show!
