The 4th Annual Light Up the City Competition wrapped up with a thrilling finish, as the winner was decided by just one point. Jody Duce and family took 1st place for their display at 6774 County Highway H, earning $100, which they matched and donated to the “Play Big, Dream Bigger Campaign” playground project. Mark and Brittni Burzynski (811 N. Franklin St) claimed 2nd place, while Robert Allen (318 Lincoln St) took 3rd and also donated their prize. Honorable mention went to Travis Schebuel (205 3rd Ave). In the business category, D.R. Moon Library secured 1st place, with Stanley Area Dance Studio in 2nd. Presented by the Stanley Community Association, the event continues to inspire with its creativity and community spirit.
