vention, on Saturday, March 26, was the Memo – rial Service remembering deceased 2020-2021 Lions year members. Among those honored this year was Stanley Lion Dean Boie, a 25 year member. The memorial service, "Celebrated Their Dedication, Service and Friendship." Fa – ther Andrew Ricci, of the Cathedral Parish in Superior, gave the welcome and opening prayer. honor of carrying the candle that was placed in Lion Boie's honor. After the roll call, Fr. Ricci provided scripture read –
ings from Isaiah, Psalms, Thes – salonian's and the Gospel of John, from which he provided a devotional mediation appro – priate to the memorial service. After the singing of "Precious Lord, Take My Hand," the bell tolled as each candle was ex – tinguished and carried from the room. Fr. Andrew closed the service with another powerful prayer that empathized the Li – ons Motto, "We Serve." The above photograph used in hon –
